Cat Ba National Park is a World Heritage Site designated as a biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam. The park is part of Cat Ba Island in Ha Long Bay and is administered by the city of Haiphong. The park is located approximately 30 kilometers (19 mi) east of Hai Phong, covering about 263 square kilometers (102 sq mi) and comprising 173 square kilometers (67 sq mi) of land and 90 square kilometers (35 sq mi) of inshore water.

Detailed tour itinerary
Depart : 8:00 am or 13:00 pm
Return: 12:00 am or 17:00 pm
7:30 – 8:00 am: Our Bus and tour guide pick up from your hotel in Cat Ba town then take a minibus or motorbike to the National Park.
9:30 am: Enter the National Park, spend about 2 hours trekking through the Kim Giao forest (which provides the wood for chopsticks) to the top of the mountain. Along the way, you may see native cats, squirrels, snakes, thousands of butterflies if you’re lucky. The highlight of this trek is the view from hilltop and diversity of different kinds of insect on the way.
11:40 am: Back to Cat Ba Town, end the trip
