This is the common point of 3 streams flowing day and night – Suoi Vang (Golden Stream), Suoi Bac (Silver Stream) and Tien Sa Stream together with Cat Cat waterfall.

Another unique culture in Cat Cat Village is the traditional houses of H’Mong tribe. The houses have 3 rooms with 3 doors and covered with “Pomu” wood roof. The main door is always closed and only open on some special occasions such as Lunar New Year, wedding or funeral. The rice mortar of the H’mong people is designed in a unique and creative way. Instead of using human power, the locals take advantage of water power in order to produce fine white grains of rice with delicious flavor.
“Pulling wife” customs of H’Mong ethnic
It would be incomplete if not mention to “pulling wife” customs. If a man falls in love with a girl, He will ask his friends to lure and “pull” her to his house and keep her there in 3 days. During these days, if the girl agrees to become his wife, a wedding will be held. However, if she does not like him, they will enjoy a glass of wine together to become a friend and she can happily go home after 3 days.
