Ta Phin village (Sapa) is home to the ethnic majority Red Dao and H’Mong people. Not far from the town, the road to Ta Phin village runs along the rugged mountainside and the terraced fields. Peach trees, plum trees along the road with blooming flowers in the cold highland welcome tourists.
How to go from Sapa town to Ta Phin village
Ta Phin village is located about 17 km from the center of Sapa town. From Sapa town center you will take the road to Lao Cai about 5 km, then turn left to go to Ta Phin. The ticket for one person is 20,000 VND. Continuing to travel about 18 km further, you will find yourselves in Ta Phin village.
In many parts of the road, on the two sides are the green leafy terraces. On the rocky slopes, there are green fields, corn fields. The scenery that helps us forget the feeling of danger on the road along the mountainside.
Currently, the road to the Ta Phin village has been upgraded to support 7-seat vehicles. You also can rent motorbikes to go from Sapa town center to Ta Phin village (about $ 8 or VND 170,000).

Brocade weaving village
Dao girls dressed in red robes embroiders scarves, brocade skillfully and willing to guide the guests on the fabric weaving process. Silver mosaic:
The Rea Dao people in Ta Chai village have well-known silver mosaic products. The Mong people, the Tay, the Thai often buy silver mosaics – jewelry of the Red Dao. Material for making jewelry is made of silver. Most silver jewelry tools come from the furnace, from the blower to the silver cooker, molds, and carving tools. Smith:
This is the handicraft that still exists to this day by the Red Dao, Mong people. The traditional manual production process includes: building the furnace, firing by charcoal, heating iron, molding into the necessary products.
