Violette Express train is a passenger train from Hanoi to Lao Cai to Ha Noi and from Hue to Da Nang to Hanoi. Wood paneled Two-bed cabins and four-bed cabins are equipped with luxurious furnishings, cozy bedding, and pillows. In each carriage, there is a clean and modern toilet and washroom with 5-star standard.

Violette Express train offers you two type of Cabin: 4-berths Deluxe Cabin and 2-berths Vip Lounge equipped with clean and modern furniture. Each cabin is all equipped with light, air condition system and other stuff like a newspaper, drink, snack on desk enough for your trip. Facilities as listed below:

Schedule of Violette Express train Hanoi Sapa

It takes passengers approximately 8.5 hours to travel from Hanoi to Sapa by Livitrans express train. The train departs every day on the route between Hanoi and Lao Cai. It departs from Tran Quy Cap Railway Station (located at No.1, Tran Quy Cap Street, Hanoi City) at 22.00 and arrives at Sa Pa around 6.10 the following morning. On reverse route, the train returns from Lao Cai Station at 21.05 and arrives at Hanoi at 5.10 in the next day.

Depart Hanoi to Laocai: 21:30 – 05:00
Depart Laocai to Hanoi: 20h35 – 04h45

Violette Train from Hanoi to Hue

The compartments are upgraded four-berth soft sleepers and come with a few extras - a small bottle of water, a wafer biscuit, a banana and a face towel for each person in the compartment. They also provide sheets, blanket, and pillow. The beds are rather hard. Charging plugs are provided in each carriage. The toilets and wash basins are at the end of each carriage, a Western-style bathroom at one end and a local version at the other. There is also a hot and cold water dispenser in the carriage. In our case, the toilet paper ran out during the night but was eventually replaced.
