You and your family, friends, have a free week then want to have a break to discover an Eastern country not just about culture but also taking some leisure and taking part in some adventurous activities, so this Central Vietnam highlights tour is fit for you. Within 8 days you will visit: Hue – the former capital with its heritages (citadel, tombs of Kings…) Phong Nha caves, Hoi An – the famous ancient town, Demilitarized zone and Champa relics.

Tour guide welcome you at Da Nang airport (or Phu Bai airport – Hue city) then head to Hotel in Hue city. Take some rest in the hotel. Dinner will be served in a traditional restaurant. At night, you will enjoy traditional music show in Perfume River. Overnight at Hotel.
Note: depending on your arrival time, the itinerary will arrange accordingly.
After having breakfast at the hotel, our car and guide will pick you up then depart to Phong Nha cave and Ke Bang national park (about 200 km away from Hue). We will arrive at lunchtime. Having lunch, take some rest then starting to caving tour.
You will hike deep into the Living Valley to visit Paradise Cave – the most beautiful caves in the National park – to enjoy the white crystal stalactites resembling many spectacular formations. Tour continues with Mooc Spring Eco trail with deep blue water, waterfalls where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking.
After that, we drive back to a hotel in Phong Nha area for overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to visit DMZ (Demilitarized zone) to learn about Vietnam War history of this area.
The DMZ is the old border area that divided North and South Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in 1975. Despite the name of the Demilitarized zone, this was once the bloodiest battlefield in the Vietnam War that killed hundred thousands of soldiers and residences from both sides. Many ruins of the old military base still exist here.
We will visit Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge and Vinh Moc tunnels where entire village ever lived for two and a half year to avoid the intense bombing of American force.
After lunch at local restaurant, we head back to Hue to visit the peaceful of Hue countryside with rice fields, and farmers’ life, which was preserved after hundreds of years. You will visit the ancient village of Phuoc Tich, a national cultural heritage site on the banks of the O Lau River, 40 kilometers to the north of Hue. The old town is well-known for its traditional pottery crafts and ancient houses and temples that have been preserved for 500 years in the classic style that makes them invaluable.
In the late afternoon, we drive back to Hue city for dinner.
After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up to board the Dragon Boat for a cruise along the Perfume River. You will enjoy a great view of the Perfume River and peaceful surrounding area before heading to Thien Mu Pagoda considered the symbol of Hue, and of Buddhism in Vietnam. From here, you will continue to visit King Minh Mang’s Tomb and King Tu Duc’s Tomb.
You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to visit Hue Citadel to learn more about Vietnam history and Dong Ba Market to know more about domestic life there. Tonight, you will enjoy a Hue royal style music in Perfume river after having dinner. Overnight in Hue.
You will go to Hoi An over the Hai Van Pass. You will stop in Danang for a visit to Cham Museum to learn more about history, art, cultural of ancient Champa village and handicraft villages at the foot of the Marble Mountain before arriving at Hoi An – the charming river town.
You will enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow lanes of the Ancient Quarter, visiting attractions like Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.
You will have dinner and explores Hoi An by night, with ancient houses and bright, colorful lanterns. Overnight in Hoi An.
You will have one day to rest and freely explore Hoi An ancient town, swimming at Cua Dai beach or joining lanterns making the class. Dinner and lunch will be ordered in according to your demand.
After breakfast, our driver and Guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart to My Son Holy Land considered the religion center and culture of the Champa Ancient Kindom. We arrive around 9h30.
After visiting My Son Sanctuary, we come back to Hoi An by boat up to the Thu Bon river by motorized boat, then stop to visit the traditional Kim Bong carpentry village before returning to Hoi An.
