Morning Start - Sapa Trekking 2 Days Tour
Day 1: Sapa (Lao Cai) – Laochai – Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa Town (B/L)
- From o9:00 am to 09:30 am, a local guide would come to your hotel for tour pick-up. If you come to Sapa by train, a Shuttle bus will transfer you from the train station to Sapa.
- Enjoy a breakfast before the Tour Start.
- Depart from Sapa town by car to Lao Chai village, following the road down the hill. Views of the Muong Hoa valley and magnificent surroundings of mountains and rice terrace fields.
- Along the road, people from many ethnic groups (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) are likely to be met, and there are stalls along the way that serve tea, fruits and sweets.
- Soon after turning off the main road and taking a local path, we will arrive in the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you will experience the daily life of the villagers.
- After that, we walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village, where the Zay hill tribes live. Here you take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide in a local house. After lunch you trek up and downhill. Specially you will trek through a bamboo forest then relax beside the waterfall.
- Explore the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai where you will also have the chance to see their daily activities. In the afternoon the car will pick you up for the return journey to Sa Pa.
- Take you back to Sapa and freely explore the town’s nightlife
Day 2: Sapa Town – Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Sapa (Lao Cai) (B/L)
- We leave Sa Pa town, trekking to Suoi Ho village to see tea plantations and cardamom gardens. Follow the buffalo trails to visit the hospitable villages of the Black Hmong minority people in Ma Tra.
- After passing a school and scenic views enroute, a picnic lunch will be served. After lunch we continue our trek to Ta Phin village to visit Red Dao people and handicraft shops.
- Then back to Sapa for shuttle bus transfer you back to Lao cai train , catch the train back to Hanoi. Tour End.
Morning Start - Sapa Trekking 2 Days Tour (Homestay Overnight)
Day 1: Sapa (Lao Cai) – Laochai – Tavan – Overnight at Homestay (-/L/D)
- From o9:00 am to 09:30 am, a local guide would come to your hotel for tour pick-up.
- Trekking from Sapa to the Black H’mong village of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai where excellent panoramas of the larger valley, paddy terraced fields and the H’mong village are offered.
- We take a small local path leading into the bottom of the valley, where some stalls are available that serve tea and fruits; a perfect spot for taking rest and having lunch.
- After lunch you will visit the Zay people of Ta Van, which lies in the middle of the Muong Hoa valley.
- There you will stay overnight in local houses ( Homestay)
Day 2: Homestay – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (Lao Cai) (B/L/-)
- Next morning, after having breakfast, the trek continues towards the Red Dao village in Giang Ta Chai. On the way you will trek up and downhill then through a bamboo forest.
- The village of Giang Ta Chai is the next stop, which we will reach by following a path over a bridge. Lunch will be provided near a waterfall, just before arrival at the village.
- Keep on trekking until you reach the hill of Hau Thao village in the late afternoon. From here, a car would get you back to Sapa town. Tour End here.
Afternoon Start - Sapa Trekking 2 Days Tour
Day 1: Lao cai – Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai
- Arrival Sapa in the early afternoon , check in to your hotel and then have lunch by your own account.
- 1:30 pm: A guide will come to pick you up at your hotel in Sapa then start the trek to the gate of Cat Cat & Sin Chai village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.
- Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station
- stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the
noontime. Have lunch at the local restaurant. - In the afternoon you have time to explore Sapa town, Sapa market etc.
- Dinner by your own account, Overnight in Sapa
Day 2 : Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Tavan ( Muong Hoa Valley ) – Sapa – Hanoi– (B/L)
- 9:30 Am A leisurely walk through the old village offers you an overview of the traditional customs and practices of the ethnic Black H’mong people.
- Stop by a stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station, constructed by the French during the colonial era in Viet Nam.
- Follow a dirt trail snaking through the mountain. Enjoy spectacular scenery while trekking along a narrow
stream until you reach Y Linh Ho village also home of the Black H’mong minority. - Head toward Muong Hoa valley. Descending into the valley, you will see the largest terraced rice fields in the Sa Pa area. (If you visit the valley between May and October, you may have the chance to observe and experience how the local people plant and harvest rice).
- The walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H’mong minority to Ta Van village of the Giay minority.
- You will take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch at a local house before transferring back to Sa Pa.
- Late afternoon your bus will transfer you back to Hanoi. Tour End.

- More than 48 days before arrival: USD 3 / person as handle fee;
- 24 hours to 48 hours before starting time: 50% of total tour price;
