Cat Ba National Park is a World Heritage Site designated as a biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam. The park is part of Cat Ba Island in Ha Long Bay and is administered by the city of Haiphong. The park is located approximately 30 kilometers (19 mi) east of Hai Phong, covering about 263 square kilometers (102 sq mi) and comprising 173 square kilometers (67 sq mi) of land and 90 square kilometers (35 sq mi) of inshore water.

8h00: Our Bus and the tour guide will pick up you from your hotel (around Cat Ba town) then head to the National Park. Your journey in the first half of the day is a 4-hour hike through the mountain and rainforests and valleys to Frog Lake (almost 14 km). Along the way, you have a chance to see native cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and if you’re lucky, a Cat Ba Langur.
The highlight of this trek is the rewarded view from the hilltop that covers the Cat Ba island. The trekking tour ends in Viet Hai village (3,5hours) – A local isolated village from the rest of the island known as the home of local fishermen.
13h00: Lunch at the local family.With home cooked food.
14h00: Easy cycling on jungle road (7km) to the port for 2 hours boat trip around Lan Ha bay and stop at Van Boi beach for swimming, and kayaking, visit monkey island, before heading back to Cat Ba island.
17h00: Transfer back to Cat Ba town. Trip ends.
