Located in the northwest of Vietnam, Sapa is a perfect place for those who love the beauty of nature and have a thirst for adventure. With Sapa 3 days 2 nights with a 01-night homestay, you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking vistas of highland Vietnam, gain an opportunity to hike out to the local hill-tribe villages, as well as explore the colorful life of locals in here.
Our tour guide will pick you at your hotel at 6:30 am and then transfer you to Hanoi – SaPa by sleeping bus with A/C soft sleeper berth.
At around 12:30 we will arrive at the Lao Cai city
After getting full of energy by enjoying some local foods and taking a short break at Sapa town, let’s start our journey.
Walking to the most south towards Muong Hoa Valley, you will reach to Y Linh Ho village and Lao Chai village – home of Black Mong who wears very dark clothing in blacks and navy dyed with indigo. This village is a small commune composed by a dozen small hamlets scattering on the very tough mountain terrain with high and steep mountains. The trekking route offers some challenges as you balance on the rice terraces and a small trail on the steep mountainside. The vegetation is dense as the path leads up to a peaceful village perched on the Hoang Lien mountainside
Say goodbye to Lao Chai; our journey will continue to Ta Van – the village appears from the clouds. It is a small group of Giay people who still keep intact the traditional culture of customs, beliefs, and festivals.
Here you will have dinner with a local family and enjoy a unique homestay experience in their beautiful traditional houses located on their rice paddy fields.
In the evening, you could walk around the village, spend the time to enjoy the mountain life in the sunset before sleeping.
A farewell to the local family after breakfast, we will set off to Giang Ta Chai village.
Walking past beautiful rice terraces, through a gorgeous bamboo forest which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park to a picturesque waterfall in Giang Ta Chai village, home of Red Dao – who wear very colorful traditional costumes. It is best for you to distinguish them from other minorities through their dresses and the way of their lives.
Don’t be afraid of talking with them since the locals are very friendly and hospitable and it’s also a great chance to enhance your understanding of their culture and traditions.
We will trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to the main road, the bus picks you up to come back to Sapa Town for lunch, some rest before a small trek to Cat Cat village.
A short drive drops you off at the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, stop for taking photos with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for the bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
16.30: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in the hotel with night activities.
Have breakfast at hotel and free times to discover Sapa town by yourself. (Fansipan cable tour will be the best choice for this morning)
About 11:30 we will check out and clear all the bills then having lunch at the hotel then free at your leisure until getting on the bus (about 15h30) to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.
21.15: We say goodbye to you at your hotel/stay. Trip ends.
